House League Skills Evaluation
Q: IS THIS A TRYOUT?
A: This is a skills evaluation to help coaches during the draft in properly placing players to achieve the best mix of competitive teams. It is not a tryout in that no 'cuts' are made, each ontime-registered player is guaranteed a spot on a team.
Q: SHOULD MY PLAYER ATTEND SKILLS EVALS IF INJURED?
A: Yes, if they intend to play. Gives the coaches a chance to assess athleticism and interest, and discuss the injury. Participate where and how you feel comfortable without risking further injury.
Q: CAN I REGISTER OR PAY AT SKILLS EVALS?
A: Yes, but if you haven't registered already you may be waitlisted until a spot is available. You must be registered and paid in full in order to be drafted (placed on a team).
Q: IF I AM WAITLISTED SHOULD I ATTEND SKILLS EVALS?
A: Yes, definitely. You must attend ONE skills eval session.
Q: WHEN IS THE DRAFT?
A: Late October or early November. You should be contacted by your coach by the following weekend.
